Med spa market intelligence · Chicago North Shore & western suburbs

Your competitors are measurable. Most of them haven’t noticed.

A monthly report on the med spas competing with you, inside whatever distance actually matters for your business, which we set with you rather than assume. What they charge, what their patients complain about, who they are hiring, and whether an AI assistant recommends them instead of you. Every figure traces to a record we can show you.

Find your clinic 905 clinics classified

Not listed? Be the first in your area. This lookup covers the six suburbs we have mapped so far. If your market is not one of them, send us your details and we will assess your area within three to four days. Nobody there is being measured yet.

    What the report answers

Four questions your dashboard cannot answer

Your own analytics tell you what happened inside your business. This tells you what is happening outside it: what patients ask for, what they complain about, where you show up when they look, and what your competitors are doing about it. Every figure is measured rather than estimated.

Does an assistant recommend you, or someone else?

When a patient asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude for the best med spa in your town, the answer names three or four businesses. We ask the questions patients actually ask, three times each, and report which clinics get named. Per question, and per assistant.

The assistants disagree with each other by a factor of three.

Who is discounting, and how deep?

Paid offers running on Facebook and Instagram right now. An advertised price is the number a competitor is willing to put in front of a stranger, usually below their menu, and always the one a patient compares you against.

Every offer verifiable under the advertiser’s own name.

What are patients saying, including yours?

We classify every review we hold by theme, yours included. Across the market, price and value draws criticism in 34% of the reviews that raise it and scheduling in 24%, against 6% for results and technique. Your report shows your own patients against that baseline, so you can see where you differ from everyone around you.

Counted, never quoted. No individual is ever named.

Who is expanding before it becomes visible?

Staffing moves months ahead of anything a patient can see. A competitor advertising for an injector is committing to capacity long before their treatment menu changes, and job listings are public.

    Attribution refused rather than guessed.

Stated on the page, not buried

What we track, and what we will not pretend to know

The list below is why the numbers are worth something. Anyone can produce a confident-looking market summary. The difference is that ours says where every figure came from, and stops where the evidence stops.

    What we track

    • Who publishes prices and who does not, with every figure linked to the page we read it from
    • What patients praise and what they complain about, counted by theme across every review we hold
    • Which competitors are hiring and for what role, because staffing moves months before a treatment menu does
    • Which competitors are advertising, what they are offering, and at what price
    • Where you rank on Google Maps for the searches patients actually type
    • Whether AI assistants name you, how often, and which clinics they name instead
    • Month over month: who gained reviews, who lost rating, who changed prices, who opened, and who closed

What we will not pretend to know

    • A competitor’s revenue, ad spend, or patient count. Nobody outside that business can see those. A number we invented would be worth less to you than no number.
    • What a complaint said. We count criticism by theme, we do not quote it. A one-star review usually holds praise and a grievance in the same paragraph, and lifting one sentence out would misrepresent the person who wrote it.
    • A single market price. A promotional rate and a package price are not the same thing, and averaging them produces a number rather than a fact.
    • Movement, in a first edition. Movement needs two captures. Until the second one exists we say so instead of filling the space.

We build with the newest tools available and keep rebuilding as they change. That is not a slogan. More of your customers are finding businesses through AI every month, and most of the industry is still reporting on the channel that came before it. We measure the one people are actually using now, which is the difference between knowing where you stood last year and knowing where you stand today.

    What it costs

Start with the general read. Continue only if it earns it.

The audit is your market as it stands today. The copy engagement is what you do about it. The subscription is the same instrument pointed at what you told us to watch: updated figures, what moved, and what your competitors changed, every month.

Takes you to the form below, then straight to checkout. Your first edition is built from your answers. Anything you ask for that we can’t compute yet, we tell you plainly and work into the next edition.
Book a call if you want one — it is not required.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to them and never to us, and we do not store them. You will see Stripe’s own checkout, and you can cancel a subscription yourself at any time without asking us.

    Two ways to start

Book a call, or just tell us here

Some people want to talk it through. Some would rather skip the meeting and get on with it. Both work. Pick what you are starting with and tell us as much or as little as you like. The audit needs only your clinic name. The subscription is built out of the rest of these answers, which is the entire difference between the two.

We confirm we can cover your area first, then take you straight to Stripe. Card details go to them, never to us. Everything in the audit is already collected, so it goes out the next business day.

We check it against the map as you type.

Fills itself in if we already have you.

So the report is addressed to a person rather than a clinic.

Your report arrives as a private link, yours alone.

We mean this. If you can think of it, we will find a way to get it, or tell you plainly that we cannot.

      What happens next

We confirm your clinic is in the map, and then you check out through Stripe on this site. Once that is settled we build your edition and send it to a private link that belongs to you. No call is required at any point.

The audit goes out the next business day, because everything in it is already collected. Order it in the evening and it lands the next morning. The copy rewrite and the directory check take up to two business days, and if your area is not mapped yet we assess it within three to four.

We confirm we can cover your area before you are asked for a card. If we cannot serve you yet, we will say so and no payment page opens. Card details go to Stripe, never to us.

AI SEO, with a number attached

We rewrite your pages so an AI assistant search can recommend you to your customers

$1,950 FOR UP TO SIX PAGES · ADDITIONAL PAGES $250 EACH · YOUR $149 AUDIT COMES OFF THE PRICE

Search for your own service on Google right now. Before the first result, there is an AI answer. Ask ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini the same question and you get three or four names. Two different doorways, and both of them hand your customer a shortlist before they ever see a list of businesses. Being findable by AI has never mattered more, and most businesses have not noticed it changed.

We check all of them, three times each, and tell you whether one of those names is yours.

When it is not, the cause is almost never your design. It is that your pages say nothing an assistant can repeat. An assistant will quote a price, a licence number, a treatment time, a product name. It will not quote “experienced team” or “your beauty journey,” because it has no way to stand behind an opinion.

There is a second reason this happens, and it is not your fault. Most web designers work from the same industry-standard copy. The same headings, the same service descriptions, the same reassuring phrases, reused across hundreds of sites because nobody had a reason to question them. That copy was written for a world where a person read your page. It was never written for a machine that has to decide which business to name, and a page that reads like a hundred others gives it no reason to pick yours.

So we rewrite your pages to say things that can be checked. Real prices or ranges. Licence numbers. The devices and products you actually use. How long a treatment takes and what recovery looks like. The same facts your patients already call and ask about.

The method is not guesswork. Published research into how generative engines choose what to draw from found that pages carrying concrete facts, statistics and cited sources get used more. We write to that finding, and we will send you the source if you want to read it.

This is what the industry is starting to call AI SEO. It is new enough that most marketing agencies are not doing it yet, and that is exactly the opportunity. The businesses that become quotable early are the ones getting named while everyone else is still deciding whether this matters. That advantage compounds, and it does not wait.

You do not need us to rebuild your site. We write the copy, you hand it to whoever maintains your pages, and it goes up. If you would rather we handled more of it, say so on the call.

Then we measure. The same questions, asked again at ninety days, and you see the number whichever way it went.

Six pages covers what actually gets read: your home page, the page where your credentials live, and your four main treatment pages. Questions your site does not answer at all become new pages, and your audit tells us exactly which ones.

      Scoped on the discovery call

Is your business telling the same story everywhere?

Your name, address, phone number and hours appear in dozens of places you have never logged into. Google, Yelp, Apple Maps, Bing, Facebook, industry directories, licensing boards.

Over time they stop matching. A number changes and one listing keeps the old one. A suite number goes missing. Hours get edited by someone who is not you. Most of the time that is simple neglect. Occasionally it is a competitor suggesting an edit, which these platforms allow anyone to do.

When your listings disagree, customers call a number that no longer works, or drive to an address you left. That cost is obvious, and you are already paying it.

The less obvious cost is this. An assistant recommends with confidence or it does not recommend at all. When your own sources contradict each other, there is no version of you it can state safely, so it names someone else instead. Consistency is not a trick. Search engines and AI assistants both read these sources. It is the condition for being repeatable.

Most agencies are not looking at this yet, because the channel is new. We are, because watching new channels is the entire job. And it compounds: the sooner your information agrees with itself, the longer it has been true by the time it counts.

We check the directories that matter and tell you exactly how many disagree, and where. Fixing them is optional. If there is nothing to fix, we will tell you that too.

We will not put a number on what this is worth to you, and neither can anyone else. Nobody can tell you what a wrong phone number cost you last year, because the people who gave up and called someone else never told you they existed. What we can tell you is exactly which sources disagree and where, and that the benefit compounds. Every month your information agrees with itself is another month it has been true when somebody checked.

      What this costs elsewhere

What the rest of the market charges, and for what

Local marketing retainers in this market run one to three thousand dollars a month. Managed local-listing services start around eight hundred per location. We looked at what those actually deliver before setting our own price.

Most of it is a monthly restatement of things you can already see. Your own reviews. Your own traffic. A ranking chart. Useful, and none of it tells you anything about the businesses competing with you.

None of them are measuring whether an AI assistant names you, because the tools to do it did not exist until recently. We built ours.

We know what this is priced at relative to what it holds, and that is deliberate. This is a new category and we would rather have the first clients in it than the best margin on it, so the price reflects where we are rather than what the data is worth. Whatever you start at is what you keep.

And this is the smallest the dataset will ever be. Every month we add sources, widen the map and put newer tooling behind the same questions. It will not get smaller, and it will not get less accurate.

If you already have a marketing team or an agency, this works alongside them. Send them the report. It hands them competitor data they cannot pull themselves, and they will know exactly what to do with it. We are not trying to replace anybody. We are the part of the picture nobody else is looking at.

If something you need is not on this list, ask on the call. There is not much in this category we cannot get to.

      Before any of it

      Book a discovery call

No charge, no pitch, and it takes as long as it needs to take.

      Book the call

This call is where the tailoring happens. We build for your needs, so the more you tell us about the business, what you sell, who you actually lose patients to and what you are trying to grow, the more of what we build is for you instead of for the average clinic.

Our whole model is putting the newest tools to work on your behalf before your competitors have heard of them, and that is a moving target by design. So if there is something you want that is not on this page, say it on the call. There is very little in this category we cannot get to, and we are in the business of turning information into something you can actually use.

Sometimes the answer is the report. Sometimes it is your website copy. Sometimes it is something we do not do, and we will say so plainly rather than sell you the nearest thing we have.
